Our story

We opened Veggieterraneo because we wanted a place like this in Évora, vegetarian, Mediterranean, relaxed. Edgar has been vegetarian for many years. Leonor is not, but she is the one in the kitchen, in the space, in the plants, in every detail. He welcomes and takes care of everyone at the table.


The idea

Communal tables in the heart of Évora. Seasonal ingredients, natural wines, cocktails and mocktails with homemade herbs and syrups. To eat, drink, or simply stay.


The space

Three tables, eighteen seats. Two communal, where the meal and the conversation blend. One more intimate, for when the moment calls for it. The space bears Leonor's mark throughout, from the plants she painted on the walls to the ones she grows and tends, from the atmosphere to the smallest detail.
